The symmetrical grooves make the board feeding centered and straight.
39 Indexable carbide inserts are installed on 4 V shape spirals. Each insert has four sharp round edges.
The inserts are slightly angled to the feeding of the board, which generates a shearing action, as opposed to the direct and straight helical cutterheads. Shearing cut leaves a much smoother finish and makes much less noise.
The V shape directs board feeding straight forward. It helps eject chips forward other than to one side, which makes dust extraction better.
Our cutterheads are warranted for one year from the date of purchase, (Carbide inserts are consumables and not under warranty.)
The Carbide Insert size is 15x15x2.5mm R150, screw size is 10#-32TPI Torx headed. T wrench is standard T25. These parts can be easily found online or shipped from our warehouse.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
